All winners were invited to collect their prizes from sponsors at a special presentation evening, held on Friday 18th February. Raffle organiser Ron Brown is seen here presenting Mrs Carpenter with her iPad. The prize was sponsored by Salop Glass.
The winner of the draw to win a season ticket for everyone who sold 15 tickets or more was Mr R.A. Fisher of Pontesbury. Ian Bebbington (Commercial Operations Manager at ShrewsburyTown) presented Mr Fisher with his prize at the recent presentation evening at the Greenhous Meadow.
Congratulations to all our lucky winners! Thank you to everyone who bought and sold tickets for the raffle, to which we had a fantastic response. A special thank you to raffle co-ordinator, Ron Brown, and to all our prize sponsors including: Darwin ITC, GK MoT & Tachograph Centre, Salop Glass, Motor World, My-Com, Mobi-Tyre and David Ruscoe. All proceeds from the raffle will go to Shrewsbury Town.
The prize draw itself was made by Keith Sayfritz, Vice Chairman of Shrewsbury Town Football Club. Speaking after the draw, Keith said:
“Shrewsbury Town are absolutely delighted by the efforts of everyone involved in this year’s raffle, including those who have donated prizes, bought or sold tickets and the Super Blues Committee who organised it.
We have had record tickets sales, making it Shrewsbury Town’s most successful ever annual raffle.
