Annual Sportmans Dinner – Monday 7th November, 2011
The Super Blues Annual Sportsmans Dinner takes place at 7.30 p.m. on Monday 7th November 2011. The venue is the Sovereign Lounge at The Greenhous Meadow. Ticket prices have been held at £30 and include a superb 3 course dinner, with coffee.
This year’s main speaker is ex-Liverpool and England Player, David Johnson. David played for his boyhood team and was part of the great Liverpool side of the 1970s and 1980s. He also went on to play for arch rivals, Everton.
One of David Johnson’s England caps was gained against Argentina, featuring the great Maradona. England won this match, with David scoring two goals.
The supporting act will be comedian, Venn Tracey.

Super Blues Annual Golf Competition – Friday 23rd September,2011
This year’s Annual Golf Competition takes place on Friday 23rd September 2011. There is a 9.00 am ‘Shotgun Start’. The venue is Shrewsbury Golf Club at Condover.
Teams of four are invited. This can be in any combination (men, women or mixed).
The event will be a 4 ball betterball stableford competition – best two to count on each hole.
The entry fee is £160 per tem, to include golf, food and prizes.

An Evening with Graham Turner, 7.00 p.m. Thursday 24th March 2011
Around 40 Super Blues members were present in the Arthur Rowley Lounge at the Greenhous Meadow for an evening of questions and answers with Town Manager, Graham Turner. Thanks to Graham for a very enjoyable evening.

Super Blues Annual Golf Day – Friday 1st October 2010
Thanks to everyone at Shrewsbury Golf Club at Condover for their help at our recent Golf Day. Despite appalling weather, the event went ahead and was a huge success. The Ryder Cup was cancelled but, thanks to the ground staff at Condover, we managed to play a full round of golf. We would also like to express our gratitude to Dave Gilmour and Nick Baker for their help on the day and to Manager Graham Turner for presenting the prizes.

Boxing Dinner – Monday 26th April 2010
We had a terrific evening at The Greenhous Meadow. Over 160 people enjoyed 12 amateur bouts of boxing. This was a great night’s entertainment, with superb food.
